4 months old (as of 09/13/18)

Scully is a very sweet 4 month old Pitt Bull Terrier. She loves people and enjoys playing with other dogs (no cats please). She loves kids too, but she’s a puppy herself, so kids over 5 would be best since she can be a little rambunctious.

Please email her foster family at anc219@txstate.edu for more information. Applications being accepted online at http://forgottenfriendstx.org/adopt/adoption-application/

Scully is ready to finally find her new family after having surgery on her front leg and undergoing physical therapy. Her fracture has healed. Veterinary Surgical Solutions has cleared her to begin leash walks. She should walk on the leash as much as possible both for leash training and to improve use of the injured elbow. She can also be off-leash in the house and in confined outdoor areas such as a fenced-in yard.

Scully’s adoption fee of $350.00 includes her Vet exam, age appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, worming, heartworm preventative, spay, and microchip.

Please note that we will not adopt puppies under 6 months of age to apartments or homes without a safely fenced private yard due to their incomplete immunization. We require that they go to a home where someone will be home much of the time for training and with no children under 5 years of age due to a puppy’s sharp teeth. Also, no homes with pools unless they are securely fenced.

Please be aware that we rarely have information about cat compatibility as most of our foster homes don’t have cats. Adoption decisions are based on the best overall match and not done on a first-come-first-serve basis.
