Jack Frost is a very calm and nice dog with a unique overbite. We believe that he may be a chihuahua/dachshund mix.

Jack loves nothing more than a comfy bed and a warm blanket. He loves to lay next to his people and feel safe and loved. He also loves to burrow under blankets. Being held is also a favorite.

Jack is a submissive dog, so he would likely do best in a relatively calm household. He does love to run and play in the backyard. He will also occasionally have zoomies and play with toys inside the house.

Jack would love a small female companion dog. He has so far gotten along fine with other dogs other than around food. He has not been around cats, but did see some cats — he didn’t care about them in the slightest. While we cannot say for sure, it is likely that he would do fine in a home with a cat.

We also have not seen Jack around kids, but expect he would be fine with kids 7 and older if they are mostly calm and kind to him. He may be scared and overwhelmed by more active kids.

Jack Frost’s adoption fee of $250.00 includes his Vet exam, current vaccinations, flea treatment, worming, heart worm test, preventative, neuter, and microchip.

Please be aware that we rarely have information about cat compatibility, as most of our foster homes don’t have cats. Adoption decisions are based on the best overall match and not done on a first-come-first-serve basis.
