Adele is an Australian Cattle Dog (aka Heeler). She was rescued from a rural shelter she had entered as a stray.

Adele is an overweight girl who could use a good exercise program to gain back her girlish figure. An adopter who likes to walk or eventually slow jog would be a great match.

A home with a yard who be enjoyed but not necessary. She prefers to be an only dog but a male dog around her size could work also. Cats are a no, older children would be okay. She is crate trained.

Please be aware that we rarely have information about cat compatibility, as most of our foster homes don’t have cats. Adoption decisions are based on the best overall match and not done on a first-come-first-serve basis.
