AUSTIN, TX AREA ADOPTIONS ONLY
Taco and his “brother” were surrendered by neighbors who kindly took them in when their owner passed away. Taco has been brightening things up around his foster home with his cute little trot and penchant for hugs and cuddles. He’s a little nervous with new people and places at first, but it doesn’t take long to earn his trust and then he’s ready to be your very best friend.
Taco is loving, cuddly, moderately energetic, smart, and easy — he’s not a chewer or a yapper and he does well on the leash. He is playful but is also satisfied to lie around and relax most of the day. He learned how to use the doggy door in a day and is housetrained. He enjoys playing in the yard, barks appropriately, loves snuggles and belly rubs, and is just a real sweetheart. He loves squeaker toys and will run to get them. He is a cat chaser and also seems to take issue with little kids, so he needs an older-kid or kid-free home.
Note: Taco tested “lightly positive” for heartworm, and his final injection was on 2/10. He’ll be ready for normal activity level by mid March. Resting in the meantime should be no problem for this easygoing guy.
Taco’s adoption fee is $350.00, which includes tax. This covers vaccinations, fecal test, dewormer, heartworm & flea/tick preventatives, microchip, and neuter.
