Scrappy Do is quite the gentleman at 8 years and 17lbs. He is very quiet and polite. All he wants to do is sit by his human and be loved. He loves couch naps and snuggle time. He knows basic commands like sit and come and is very willing to please if treats are involved. Scrappy is a very calm Schnauzer boy who has done well with other dogs in his foster home. He is house trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside. Scrappy loves playing with toys and will fetch and be very fun and rambunctious when it comes to balls and stuffed animals. Everyone at his foster mom’s office enjoys his calm demeanor. He does amazingly well on car rides and loves to utilize them for quick naps. He enjoys the breeze of an open window and is not easily distracted on walks. He is very good on the lead.
Scrappy does get a little nervous in the crate in general and at bedtime but will settle in if he sees that you are somewhere close by in the same room. Scrappy is a little on the needy side so he would work best with someone who was home during the day or was not away for much of the day. He seems to be a little intimidated with stairs so a one-story home would be ideal.
Scrappy’s adoption fee of $400.00 includes his vet exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, worming, monthly heartworm prevention, flea treatment, neuter, and microchip.
