Rip is 13 weeks old and weighs 5 lbs He is a doxie mix. His Momma weighed only 12 lbs, so he will remain small as an adult. He is friendly and playful. He loves to chase toys and run around the yard. He has lovely dapple markings on his coat.
Rip will need a fenced yard and preferable someone home much of the day. No children under the age of 8 because of his small size and sharp puppy teeth. He will need lots of love and patience with house training and socialization.
He will be neutered and microchipped when he is older (which is part of the adoption fee).
Rip’s adoption fee of $350.00 includes his vet exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, worming, monthly heartworm prevention, flea treatment, neuter, and microchip.
** We do not adopt puppies out to people who live in apartments, homes with a pool, or homes with children under 5 years old.
If you live in the Austin area and are interested in adopting, please fill out an application.
Please be aware that we rarely have information on our dogs being good with cats as most of our foster homes don’t have them.
Adoption decisions are based on the best overall match and not done on a first-come-first-serve basis.
