Maggie is a sweet, affectionate, playful, and wickedly smart girl! In foster care, she has learned to run and walk well on a leash, and to sit before crossing intersections. (It’s not uncommon for perfect strangers to comment on how beautiful she is when she is walking down the street!) She is calm and chill when her people are and ready to run and play when her people are—she adjusts to her people’s schedules and moods easily. She will let you know when she wants pets and cuddles–pushing up against your side and looking up at you with those soulful eyes!
She would benefit from regular exercise (she is part Border Collie after all!) and/or another dog to run and play with, but she would be totally happy as an only pup with active humans. She also loves to entertain herself when her people are busy, like throwing a ball up in the air and chasing it or tossing her bone down the stairs and running after it—she never tires of self-play. When she started in foster care, she needed more exposure to other dogs and humans in order to be comfortable, but now she is wonderful with both and cannot stop wagging her tail when she sees a friendly human face!
Maggie’s adoption fee of $350.00 includes her vet exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, worming, monthly heartworm prevention, flea treatment, spay, and microchip.

Please be aware that we rarely have information on our dogs being good with cats as most of our foster homes don’t have them.
