MISS BLUE (aka Gertie) is estimated to be 10years old. She came to forgotten friends in rough shape. She had a horrible skin infection and her teeth are worn from years of being flea infested and constantly itchy. She likely lived outside and was very shut down at first. Gertie is a whole new dog now! Her skin is clear and her hair is almost all grown back she has lovely house manners and gets along well with all sizes of dogs. She loves to go on walks and while she still loves to explore outside she has discovered that dog beds inside are way more comfortable. She sleeps nicely in her kennel at night and during the day when no one is home. She takes a little too much interest in cats and chickens so would do best in a home without them. She does have a little arthritis in her hips and takes an anti-inflammatory as needed. The light is back in her eyes & she is ready for her forever home !

Gertie’s adoption fee of $350.00 includes a vet exam, current vaccinations, heartworm & fecal tests, monthly heartworm prevention, flea treatment, spay/neuter and microchip.

Please be aware that we rarely have information on our dogs being good with cats as most of our foster homes don’t have them.
