Coco (on hold)

Adoption Status:on hold
Information as of 12/23/2019
Age:~1 year old
Breed:German Shepherd Mix
Weight:40 lbs

Coco is currently on medical hold for heartworm treatment. No applications accepted at this time.

Coco is as sweet as chocolate! Her favorite activity is cuddling on the couch. She knows sit, shake, and lay down! She is very food motivated and a quick learner! She gets along with other dogs and cats. She is learning the best way to walk on a leash. She enjoys playing in the yard but isn’t overly hyper. She’s still learning it’s not okay to jump up when humans get home, but she just loves her human friends so much and wants to give them kisses. Coco’s almost fully potty trained, she is still adjusting to life as an inside dog. She is crate trained already, she stays in her crate at night, and any time her human friends are gone.

We don’t know yet how she interacts with children. Coco would be great in a house with a fully fenced yard or an apartment with a long walk every day. She would do well in a house by herself or with another canine companion. She might just take a bit to warm up to other pups and their style of play.

Coco’s adoption fee of $350.00 includes her vet exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, worming, monthly heartworm prevention, flea treatment, spay, and microchip.

Please be aware that we rarely have information on our dogs being good with cats as most of our foster homes don’t have them.

Adoption decisions are based on the best overall match and not done on a first-come-first-serve basis.
