True Bleu is looking for a special adopter! Bleu is an Australian Cattle Dog, and the breed standard says in part “ACDs are true-blue loyal, famously smart, tenacious, ever alert, and may be wary of strangers.” This describes Bleu very well! Bleu was surrendered by her owners when the baby developed allergies, and she was absolutely heartbroken. She has adapted well with her foster parents, but is “wary of strangers” and prefers not to be touched by people she doesn’t know. Her adopter will need to understand this and give her some time to adjust and bond to her people. The reward will be a loving and loyal companion who is house trained, crate trained, walks well on a leash, enjoys car rides and playing with her toys. Bleu was hit by a car as a baby and had surgery to repair a broken leg. Her knee joint is fused, and she has a cute skip hop gait that doesn’t slow her down at all!
Bleu’s adoption fee of $350.00 includes her Vet exam, basic vaccinations, fecal test, wormer, heart worm test, preventative, spay(scheduled for Jan. 6) and microchip.
