Bernadette is a lovable, spunky senior gal who has the best personality despite her unfortunate situation. Bernadette thought she found her forever home 9 years ago, only to be found and returned to us a few months ago because she was living on the streets. Bernadette’s former owners did not want her back and we have no idea why!
Bernadette is full of love and life and loves to nap, follow you around the house, and snuggle up for pets! Although she is almost 11 she still gets zoomies from time to time too! She does best with a routine and when kept on a schedule is very housetrained.
Bernadette has had some health issues and since coming to us she had a large grade 1 cancerous tumor removed from her leg (being grade 1 it should stay localized and may not return). She also had to have 13 teeth removed so she eats mostly soft food, but boy does she love food!
Bernadette gets along great with other dogs or cats and would make a wonderful addition to a quite home willing to spoil her as she deserves.
Bernadette’s adoption fee of $350.00 includes her vet exam, age appropriate vaccinations, worming, monthly heartworm prevention, flea treatment, spay, and microchip.

Please be aware that we rarely have information on our dogs being good with cats as most of our foster homes don’t have them.
Adoption decisions are based on the best overall match and not done on a first-come-first-serve basis.
