Forever Friends

These friends who always wait, at any hour, for your footfall… and eagerly jump to their feet out of a sound sleep, to greet you as if you are a God. With warm eyes full of adoring love and hope that you will always stay…..I’ll hug their big strong necks….I’ll kiss their dear sweet heads and whisper in their very special company….

I look in the mirror and see I am getting old…. This is the kind of person I am… and have always been. Loving dogs is easy; they are part of me. Please accept me for who I am. My dogs appreciate my presence in their lives; they love my presence in their lives…… When I am old this will be important to me; you will understand when you are old… if you have dogs to love too. ~Author Unknown

Grammie

Grammie

The group decided to keep Grammie as a “sanctuary” dog. We worked diligently with our Vet and an Allergist to helped her heal and gain comfort.

Grammie is a Pomeranian sweetie who has had a rough few years! She was a stray in a kill shelter and was rescued on her very last day. This girl was suffering with rotten teeth, fleas, a mammary infection, a foul smelling coat and very yeasty skin. Why would anyone let an animal suffer like that?

Sadly Grammie crossed the rainbow bridge in 2016

Thanks to Lisa Morrill, Rebecca Lopez, Karen Brin, Stanton McNeely, Carol Cornett, Debbie Parker, Pat winne and Pamela Samboy for their support!

Nelson

Nelson

Nelson was a very special and handsome Pomeranian! When he was rescued he was skinny, shaved to the skin, had rotten teeth which resulted in his jaw breaking. He needed surgery by a really nice doggie dentist named Dr. Capron. Lots of very kind people donated money to get him all fixed up.

Sadly Nelson crossed the rainbow bridge in 2017

Thanks to Melanie Gover, Eunice Klein, Rebecca Lopez, Ramona Ruffino, Suzy & Gerald Freeny, Kay Somers, Heather Lambeth, Stacey Chester, Kameron Thornburgh, Takao Nonaka, Debra Parker, Lung-chun Feng, Barbara White, Bryan Walker, Margaret Schell, Jeannie Steele, Happy Hounds Pet Training, Robyn Frank, Melanie Jaquysh, Dave & Melany Ransom, Joan Carol Bates, AC De La Garza, Chelsea Brown, Jenny Shawn and Mary Sikes for their support of Nelson’s heartworm treament, dental work & repairs, dog attack and knee surgery.
